ABOUT US
Like so many others, I too was a mortgage and real estate refugee. In fact, not only did my wife (Brenda) and I own and operated a mortgage and real estate company, we had a nationwide loan processing center, loan doc signing services, and an insurance division focused on selling indexed annuities. We were also in the process of launching a school training loan officers and loan processors.
Furthermore, I passed my series 65 and was placing client’s money in the market. However, as we all know, the economy went to “heck in a hand-basket”. Every business we were invested in was dramatically affected, and we eventually had to shut each one down. I personally had been in the mortgage business for 20 years and now faced the realization we had to reinvent ourselves.
By the grace of God, in June of 2009 we learned about final expense. When I finally realized this was a product everyone on the planet will need one day and essentially everyone qualified, “the light-bulb went on in my head.” In a declining economy our income was now increasing with the potential to build a gigantic residual income with the “pay-through” and annual renewals.
I also realized this business is recession proof; no matter what the economy is doing, people will always buy final expense wanting to leave their family in a decent situation in the event of their death. My wife and I really love this business because we are truly helping families in an important area in their lives.
This truly is a business where “the sky is the limit.”

Not lawyers, actuaries, accountants, financial gurus, or anyone else that has never sold a life insurance policy.
